Since that time, we have had the opportunity to travel and live in many different places. Our hearts however have always been captured by the Smoky Mountains where we have brought our family to vacation and enjoy its unique beauty over the years. Now that our c
hildren are grown and starting families of their own, it seemed like the perfect time to have a place where our grandchildren could grow up enjoying the same magical experience. In fact, the cabin is named after our first grandchild, Briar. Whether this is your first visit or one of many, it is our sincere hope that you enjoy your time in the Smoky’s and your stay at Briar Patch. Memories made here will last a lifetime! No need to give up modern conveniences to have a true Smoky Mountain cabin experience. Briar Patch is a newly constructed 2-bedroom cabin located just one mile off the Parkway in Alpine Mountain Village Resort. Nestled in a wooded setting, this cabin allows you and your family to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature while staying close to all of the major attractions. With a king suite and full sleeper sofa on each level, there is plenty of room for your entire family. Each bedroom comes with a jetted tub and full en suite bath. On the main level is a living area featuring a stone fireplace and flat screen television, a fully appointed kitchen that provides modern appliances and kitchen tools, and a dining area that seats up to 8 people. There is also a spacious deck off the main level where you can choose to eat outdoors or relax and enjoy the wooded view. On the lower level you can gather everyone together in the theater room to watch a movie on the 70 inch flat panel television. Complete with surround sound, blu-ray DVD player, movie library and theater seating, you can have an authentic movie theater experience without leaving the cabin. There is also a game room where adults as well as children will enjoy the pool table, Xbox with game library, a variety of board games and a half bath. Just off the game room you will find another spacious deck with a four person hot tub where you can relax after a busy day. There is even a full size washer and dryer to use during your stay.
