As winter weather approaches, we want to ensure that you and your families are prepared for any possible forecasted snow which could lead to potentially hazardous travel conditions which are being forecasted this Friday evening into Saturday. Please take the time to inform your guests of the following important information to help them plan accordingly.
Guest Preparedness:
Snow and ice accumulation may lead to prolonged power outages and hazardous travel conditions. We encourage guests to ensure that they have plenty of supplies with them.

This includes:

• Food and water

• Medications and medical supplies

• Baby formula and diapers

• Flashlights and batteries

• Warm clothing and blankets

• Portable phone batteries

• Extra batteries for radios and flashlights

• Food and medication for pets
Guests should plan for the possibility of being unable to leave their rental for an extended period.
Road Treatment and Plowing Information:

Local Road Departments operate at a priority schedule during snow events. This means that primary roads will be treated and plowed first. Secondary roads, such as side roads and residential streets/roads, will be treated and plowed once primary roads are clear.Please note that private roads will not be treated or plowed by the local Road Departments. It is the owner's/rental company's responsibility to maintain & clear private roads that lead to Short Term Rental Units (STRU)/Overnight Rental Units.
