To all our former guests, friends, and family.
Our 15 year history of renting our cabin property is drawing to a close.

We're opening a new chapter to our lives as we transition from our family home of 33 years to our hillside haven in Pilot Mountain. Our move in date is May 15 (hopefully sooner).

Our plans for the future include eventually building a new structure on the property that can accommodate visitors. We also look forward to hosting special events for organizations like Edgewater Education (Edgewater.education). We're keeping the PPCR page and our Website active.

It's been a honor to host so many wonderful folks from all over the nation and the world. We've been proud ambassadors of the region with its exceptional natural beauty, recreation, entertainment, and cultural events.

It's now our time to make PPCR and Pilot Mountain our home. We are profoundly grateful to finally be living at our Sacred Summit. It has been a dream for so many years that has become a reality.

Pilot Mountain's pinnacle is a rare geological marvel. Some say it emanates waves of positive energy like a beacon. One reason we call our place "Sacred Summit" is due to the cabin property being so close to the mountain. Presented here is an artistic view of our beloved mountain in all its glory.

Spring is ON! And we're giving our garden and parking area a new look. We've widened and top dressed the gravel path to the stove house. And we're starting to grow vegetables in these nifty Olle galvanized metal raised garden beds.

PILOT MOUNTAIN FIRE UPDATE 4:30 PM NOV 30. Fire seems to have mostly burned out. Smokey haze around the base of the mountain-not much up here at the Summit. Relieved that this is pretty much over. Still need prayers for rain and a rain dance. It's soooooo dry around here.

So far the Pilot Mountain wildfire remains a safe distance from our land. I posted this video this afternoon. Thanks to all who expressed their concerns and offered their prayers. We are also prayerful that the fire will be contained soon.
