Krav Maga is the Israeli self-defense system originally used by the Israeli Defense Forces. It is now widely taught to law enforcement and civilians alike, due to its inherent instinctive responses that are both effective and easy to learn. Krav Maga was developed as a realistic street defense, designed to be learned by practically anyone, regardless of physical conditioning. It was not designed t

o be utilized in a competitive context; therefore there are no rules or uniforms. The student will learn the easiest skills to defend themselves under all circumstances that will work in stressful situations. The curriculum is relatively brief and only the principles that have proven to work in real-life scenarios are taught. The curriculum covers combatives such as hand and elbow strikes, knee and leg kicks; defense against chokes, headlocks, as well as some elementary ground escape concepts. The use of improvised weapons and weapon disarm is included. The student will learn realistic, practical principles and concepts to keep them safe; first by avoiding precarious situations and then by incapacitating an attackerby any means necessary. Although not a fitness course, there is physical activity. Some aerobic conditioning and sweating will occur! TT is owned and operated by a retired supervisory federal agent, specializing in counter terrorism. He has a lifelong experience in various forms of armed and unarmed combatives training and has trained in Krav Maga across the United States and in Israel.

This is not an example of self-defense. It is an example of lack of intent. The guy in the grey shirt holds back on his slap and does not follow through; the guy in the red shirt gets it right. In a self-defense situation never strike half-heartedly, you may not get another chance.
