It took us a year and a half to get central heat and air conditioning installed !

This photo is from our first winter living in the house.

We had a gas fire place in the sitting room of the primary bedroom suite, and we slept in the adjacent two rooms -- with a box fan to circulate the heat.

The next winter, when we had central heat, the kids asked when they were going to move back into our room. 😂

Restoring this old mansion helped our family to form so many fond memories!
