🌟Helpful Tip: If you are in need of assistance and a Pop-Up Market is not close by, please, use one of our amazing Partner Agencies. They can provide more personalized care, sometimes provide more than food even, and they are getting the same items that we are serving at our Pop-Ups. Find an agency near you by visiting foodbankcenc.org/foodfinder and typing in your zip code to the search bar. It will generate Partner Agencies and list them from closest to farthest from you.

🛑DO NOT ARRIVE before the scheduled market time - our staff and volunteers need that time to prepare for the market so that everyone has the best time possible.

📦And please, bring your own bags or boxes if possible.

⚠These are ALL the locations we have so far. We do plan on expanding the program to include more locations, but it is a work in progress. When we do have new locations, it will be posted ASAP.

We were delighted for our very own Marva Kirk to be interviewed for this article on Annie Oakley in Garden & Gun Magazine a few years ago.

Oakley, the world-famous sharpshooter, wintered in Pinehurst for seven seasons beginning in 1916.

Now 107 years later women still make history in Pinehurst.

Did you know Annie Oakley is part of Pinehurst history? "As friends of James Walker Tufts’s son Leonard, Oakley—then already a legend thanks to her star turn as the “Little Sure Shot” in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show—visited Pinehurst often with her husband and fellow marksman Frank Butler, both drawn by the area’s abundant hunting and shooting opportunities. Like so many others in the era, they came to Pinehurst seeking fresh air and relaxation after Oakley was injured in a 1901 accident near Lexington, North Carolina, when Buffalo Bill’s train derailed. But the couple is most known in Pinehurst for the seven seasons they wintered there beginning in 1916 following their retirement from entertainment."

Enjoy the Pinehurst Barbecue Festival on Sunday, September 3 for the Prieto Pitmaster Invitational! Our Courtesy Shuttles are running **9:30am to 5:00pm to/from the festival. Park at Pinehurst Elementary School (100 Dundee Rd, Pinehurst, NC) and across from Pinehurst Brewing Co. (Magnolia Rd, Pinehurst, NC).

The drop-off/pick-up at the festival is located at DuneBerry Resort Wear at 120 Market Sq, Pinehurst, NC.

Parking for golf carts, use the pine straw area adjacent to Village Green.

Note that a ticket is required to sample the food during the event and cannot be purchased separately at the seven Pitmaster locations. A ticket is not required to enjoy the music, explore the village, Got to Be NC vendor tents, etc. No outside food and beverage will be permitted inside the event boundaries.

Live Entertainment on the Village Green Stage:
12:00pm - 2:00pm Whiskey Pines

**VENDORS parking across from Pinehurst Brewing Co. can use the shuttle starting at 8:00am.

Enjoy the Pinehurst Barbecue Festival today! Our Courtesy Shuttles are running 9am to 5pm to/from the festival. Park at Pinehurst Elementary (100 Dundee Rd, Pinehurst, NC) and Village Hall (395 Magnolia Rd, Pinehurst, NC).

The drop-off/pick-up at the festival is across from Given Library & Tufts Archives at the corner of Orange Rd/Cherokee Rd, Pinehurst, NC.

Please note that a ticket is required to sample the barbecue during the Pitmaster event, and barbecue cannot be purchased separately at the seven Pitmaster locations. A ticket is not required to enjoy the music, beer garden, dessert pavilion, vendor tents, etc. No outside food and beverage will be permitted inside the event boundaries.
