Thanks to everyone that shared our post and liked the page. There will be no more entries accepted for the three night stay. Due to Facebook causing issues with the numbering sequences for some people, I am going to pull up the order of people commenting and liking the page and assign each person a number. When I am done, I will post everyone's number and we can do the giveaway. I plan to go live this weekend and draw a number.

Please help us spread the word about The Homeplace in Piney Creek. Starting today, 03/23/24 through 04/30/24, please like the page, share the page, and comment one number running in consecutive order (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.) in order to be entered for a chance to win a three night stay. I will do a Facebook live drawing on the evening of 05/01/24 to pull the winner. All numbers will be entered into the site random.org and one number will be pulled. The person in the comments who posted that number will be the winner.

The rules are as follows. Must be 21 to win. Only one number allowed per person. If duplicate numbers are posted on accident, only the first person to post the number will will be enteted. Three night rental is for up to eight people only. No parties or events. Must sign a rental agreement prior to your stay and abide by the rules. Must pay $130 cleaning fee as that is our cost to the cleaning company. Rental nights cannot be redeemed on the following holiday weeks of Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve. The three days must be used during the calendar year of 2024.

Welcome to Our Homeplace in Piney Creek

The house was built in 1919 by our great grandfather and an uncle. Our grandmother and her family moved into the house when she was just one year old and our mothers, Mary and Nancy lived here their entire childhood. Some of the things our great grandfather crafted for the house are still with our family to this day. In the wellroom, the original well for the house still remains where a bucket on a rope was lowered down into the well to draw water. The concrete trough in the room served as the refrigerator for keeping milk, butter, cheese, eggs and other food from the farm. Water came into the well from an underground spring nearby.
