Merry Christmas!
🎄🎅🏼🧸🍴Pipestone Kiwanis Club, Pipestone County Food Shelf, and Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce are again organizing the annual “Pipestone County Christmas Care” program to assist Pipestone County residents (individuals, couples, seniors, and families) who are facing financial hardship this holiday season.
If you are a Pipestone County resident who is in need and is struggling financially this holiday season, this program can help by providing a toy for each of your children (ages 12 and under), a quilt/blanket for the family (while supplies last), and/or a holiday food tote for the household.
✳️Please note: You are registering your child for the toy. So, only ☝️ONE parent or legal guardian should register each child — not both. This avoids duplications in registration and helps to ensure all registered children receive a gift.
🗓 DISTRIBUTION DAY is Saturday, December 14th at the Blue Building (south entrance) at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds and you 👉MUST be pre-registered to participate in this charitable program by Monday, December 9th.
💻 REGISTRATION: There are links to register on the homepage of our Chamber’s website at www.PipestoneMinnesota.com (Click the image and use the appropriate link to register.) If you do not have access to a computer or smart phone to register online, you are welcome call the Chamber at 507-825-3316 and we can register you over the phone for the program.
‼️IMPORTANT: You will NOT receive an email confirmation or a reminder of your registration date and time. So, you NEED to 📝 write the date & time down or 📱screenshot it with your phone so you know when to attend.‼️
🥰Our community’s program is ran entirely by volunteers, so please arrive at the time you registered to be respectful of our volunteers’ gift of time during this busy holiday season. Also, please realize that you may have to wait due to the number of volunteers. Thank you for your patience. Finally, please do NOT register if you do not plan on attending as this wastes funds for other programs and we are low on funding this year.
👍😃If you are not currently employed and are seeking employment, here is a helpful link to our Pipestone Area Job Board (updated regularly) where our community’s employers are NOW HIRING for a wide variety of positions: https://business.pipestoneminnesota.com/jobs
