Thank you to our friends at Christensen Broadcasting in Pipestone, MN for having us on the radio yesterday! 📷 Pictured is Allan Bakke from Southwest Crisis Center and Tom Bouma, announcer at KDWC 99.3 FM.

Allan shared with listeners that January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, a month dedicated to acknowledging the existence and impact of human trafficking. This month, and every month, Southwest Crisis Center provides services to youth and young adults experiencing exploitation and trafficking and works with communities to raise awareness and take action.

Media campaigns, community events, trainings, and personal conversations are all part of our work to remind everyone that they have a role to play in preventing and eliminating this grave violation of human rights.

Let us know in the comments if you heard us yesterday! ⬇
