In addition to our rental cabin and our gorgeous event spaces, we also have pastures available to accommodate horses, abundant parking for trailers, and room for camping. Mountains and Meadows at Turkey Pen is one of the few remaining large tracts of privately owned land in Western North Carolina. Bordered by Pisgah National Forest at the "Turkey Pen" trail head, these 250 picturesque acres are a piece of paradise. The Turkey Pen forest trail matrix is a haven for horseback riders, mountain bikers, backpackers, and hikers. Our prime location is conveniently located close to Brevard, Hendersonville, and Asheville in North Carolina. "Turkey Pen" is the name given to this this lovely valley, where Native Americans once gathered wild turkeys. Today we still unearth arrowheads and are often greeted by wild turkeys.We are committed to enhancing the wildlife and preserving the land, which is why we participate in North Carolina's Forest Stewardship Program. With only four structures on the property, we strive to minimize our footprint on this earth.
