Transforming Northwell Plainview with DL Metal Design’s signature excellence! We were honored to provide the steel support structure and custom ornamental metal elements for this significant upgrade. After weeks of meticulous surveying and planning, DL Metal Design played a pivotal role in reshaping the hospital's façade from every angle. Behind the sleek rain screen and ACM system lies a complex network of support tubes, channels, and angles, revitalizing the east and west elevations. In partnership with Freedom Ironworks, who expertly installed our designs, we’re proud to contribute to the renewed and enhanced Northwell Plainview Hospital!

We are proud to have partnered with JT Magen on multiple projects for Primark USA as part of their significant U.S. expansion.

We successfully completed the Valley Stream location, delivering a sleek, modern design that stands out. Similar to our work at the Roosevelt Field store, our team outfitted the space with custom glass walls, mirrors, and railings for the escalator area. The project also included the installation of glass panels, mirrors, and secure cashier windows throughout the site, all executed to precise specifications.

Our project managers played a crucial role, personally overseeing multiple on-site surveys to ensure the highest accuracy and product quality. This hands-on approach reflects DL Metal Design’s commitment to adaptability and excellence, consistently going above and beyond to meet the unique needs of each project.

Transforming Spaces with Innovation: Discover the Xchange Tower Project. DL Metal Design was awarded the miscellaneous and ornamental metals for this amazing 26-story tower project in NJ with amazing views of the NY skyline over the river. DL Metal performed a variety of metal work including a custom ACM Entry Canopy, Elevator Support Steel, Pool Level Sail Canopy Posts, Woven Wire Mesh Partition Systems, and custom DLM-designed and fabricated octagonal column covers with drink rails for the 19th-floor amenity space. Another successful project for DLM and a new lifelong client!

This upcoming Memorial Monday let’s take the time to honor the members of our country’s military who have selflessly sacrificed their lives in service. Whether it be the Army, Marines, Navy, or any other service to our great country, we salute those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Though this holiday is held on the last Monday of the month, let their valor be first in our minds.

Black Rock Middle School –

It’s no surprise that a building made for the transformation of young minds would ultimately undergo a transformation of its own. DL Metal Design was more than happy to partner with Black Rock Middle School and supply the property with its new outdoor flat top, powder coated, tube steel, picket railings. Wrapping around a sectioned perimeter of the main entrance, the design of a simple, sturdy, and reliable safety railing was perfectly executed and achieved by our skilled metal workers. Though this project was completed some time ago, our craftsmanship never fails to prove that it can stand the test of time.

Thanks to these heavy-duty machines we can bring any project to life with ease. The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment in our shop cuts, bends, prints, and molds raw materials to extreme tolerances. Our machines range in capabilities including plasma cutting, oxy fuel cutting up to 6” solid steel, pneumatic scribing, marker layout, metal bending, 3-D printing, and both wood and aluminum vacuum table routing. Without their hard work in estimating, administrative support, project management and leading our financial operations we would not have been able to grow into what we are today. Did you know: Steel Is 1,000 Times Stronger Than Iron! When compared to pure iron steel is roughly 1,000 times stronger! Adding just a small amount of carbon to steel significantly increases its tensile strength, resulting in a superior level of strength compared to pure iron. That makes steel the ultimate weightlifter at any gym! Not only can it support mind-boggling loads, but did you also know that a single steel beam can carry up to 24 fully grown elephants? Despite its strength, it is shocking how surprisingly lightweight steel is. This ability allows for the manipulation of steel to be incorporated into a variety of uses like with the Wind Creek Casino project our company had the opportunity to work on. Strong enough to support a herd of elephants and delicate enough to form intricate art. It is incredible how powerful a material can be with just the slightest adjustment.
