**WOULD YOU EAT THIS CAJUN STEAK AND SHRIMP EXTRAVAGANZA? 🥩🍤🔥‼️**
A spicy, flavor-packed surf-and-turf feast that brings together juicy steak and succulent shrimp, coated in bold Cajun seasoning.
**Ingredients:**
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
- 3 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
**Instructions:**
1. **Season the Steak and Shrimp:**
In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, toss the shrimp with the remaining 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning.
2. **Cook the Steak:**
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until seared and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
3. **Sauté the Shrimp:**
In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and butter. Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds, then add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
4. **Cook the Vegetables:**
Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet, then sauté the bell pepper and onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
5. **Combine and Serve:**
Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing everything to combine and heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
