Suzanne Ferguson is the founder of Save My Marriage with Love, where she helps women connect in new ways with their spouses to create a lasting intimacy that honors both partners. If you treasure the love you once had, Suzanne’s groundbreaking work will help you re-awaken a new way to be in love again. Suzanne watched her parents struggle with their marriage and divorced when she was nine. By the
time she was a young adult, her mother had married five more times. Suzanne made up her mind that she would find the secrets to having a loving and dynamic marriage. She was blessed with 24 wonderful years of marriage to her best friend before they ran into marital challenges. They went for traditional mariage counseling, but it not only fell short of helping them, it actually drove them further apart. Having worked formerly as a social worker and given her current work as a professional coach, Suzanne was able to recognize the common themes, expectations and beliefs in her first marriage that trapped both of them in a life that neither of them wanted. Suzanne is a graduate of the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation (the internationally recognized association of professional coaches). She has an Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work. While these studies ground her work, it’s been her experience coaching hundreds of people toward marital happiness that makes what she offers so powerfully effective. Her own personal journey taught her that there is no good marriage without both partners being fully empowered. She knows first hand the exhaustion and hopelessness that creeps in when wives feel distance in the relationship that matters most. Suzanne says: “Helping women save their marriages with love is my passion. There’s nothing more important and my process is a lot easier than trying to drag him to couples therapy session!”
“When I was struggling to save my marriage, I wanted to do it with integrity. I looked around for support to do that but I just didn’t find any. Now I’ve gathered the gems and feel blessed to have shared them with so many. Suzanne knows that under the best of circumstances, relationships take work and it’s too easy to blame yourself, but it’s not about blame. She knows that healing a relationship is often only possible once you feel like there’s nothing more you can do on your own. That’s when you have the most hope of turning things around. Skillfully applying her knowledge, she supports women to courageously heal their marriages one heart at a time.
