Alys Beach, a new urbanist planned town located on Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. Town architects @khouryvogt hosted our @classicist_org group last week on a phenomenal day in this monumental town. With work by such architects as @michaelimberarchitect @mcalpinehouse @khouryvogt @pledgerarchitect @jeffreydungan the design is inspired by Caribbean, Mediterranean, Cape Dutch and Moorish style. Alys Beach has no equal in the US. In fact it is hard to believe that you are even in the US, while wandering around the streets of this chic town.
