After a morning of work I finally took a swim in to the beautiful clear waters for some snorkeling. The Four Seasons has two access points with stairs leading into the deep water on the edge of two fabulous snorkeling reefs. I saw a large manta ray, many bright colored corals that I had never seen before, and Arabian Angel fish among others. MERERUKA’S TOMB IN THE SAQQARA NECROPOLIS: Mereruka was the vizier during the reign of the 6th Dynasty king Teti (c. 2345–2323 BC).
He was buried in a mastaba type tomb in the cemetery associated with the pyramid complex of his king, Teti, in Saqqara. The mastaba of Mereruka actually contains three burials; it also includes that of his wife Wa’tetkhet-hor, and that of a son named Meriteti. Thank you to @arto.belekdanian for sharing this very special tomb with me. It was one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen, and no amount of photos or videos will ever do it justice.
