What is the tree's purpose?

To us, it serves a myriad functions: it offers shade from the relentless sun, wood for our shelters and tools, fruits for our nourishment, beauty to soothe our eyes, branches for our climbing, and the breath of life itself through the oxygen it provides.

Yet, in its own essence, the tree has but one purpose: to grow. Slowly, patiently, with each passing day. Its branches stretch to the heavens, its roots delve deep into the earth, all in a silent symphony of perpetual becoming. It seeks neither praise nor reward, content in the simplicity of its existence.
