The first stop you should try before purchasing the "big pieces" for your loving baby car rides and nursery. Having children is a blessing and a wonderful experience. But becoming a parent does come with a price tag (A Life time price tag) and a constant one, one that requires changes. Those changes may be: changing formula to satisfy their colics and stop their sufferi
ng intestinal pain, changing from the most expensive diaper cream to the least expensive one because the cheaper one was the cream that worked the best for your baby. Not to mention the forever changing of car seats and the changing of a crib to a toddler bed to a actual size bed for our forever growing and developing children. True story, lived it! Of course I wanted everything new and nothing but the best for my children (my first born and my second born). My children have to have the most expensive car seat because it seems to have the best protection and highest rating. Oh how I wished the $300 plus expense (car seat that was only used for a few months) would have gone towards the expensive formula, but I wanted my children to be safe and comfortable as I drove them around town (as all parents do). Not to mentioned that we made sure grandparents car had the safest car seat in their vehicle too. We spent the money on the "safest car seats"! I searched for the best, did my research, went to the store and ran my debit card, purchased the car seat (sweat ran down my forehead, didn't know if the money used would be needed in case an "emergency" occurred) and walked out to the car to install it. Now that one purchase was made, (you know.. That purchase that has to happen in order for the hospital to let you take your new precious child home. (No car seat, no mama, you can't take your baby home)). The next big purchase would be a crib... Another hundred of dollars, there goes more and more money. Trust me, we purchased the best, as every parent should, but sometimes because of economic situations lots of parents aren't able to do so. Why purchase when you can rent good quality car seats and those big pieces of furniture that our precious jewels (new babies) will only use for a few months or maybe not at all because the baby ends up sleeping in mom (and dads) bed. Renting baby gear is easy, affordable and can be month to month. You don't have to spend the "big" bucks, save that money for the items/ situation that the baby will need, like formula, clothes, diapers, doctor office visits and a future family vacation (a penny goes a long way). The car seats that I have are gently used, some have metal inserts (better protection then plastic car seats) have never been in an accident and are top of the line brands. They are clean and sterilized and cloth materials are washed with hypoallergenic detergent. It's so easy to rent then buy - the research has been done, the top safest brands have all been selected - All you do is select the car seat (infant or toddler) for your child size, select the time frame you would like to rent it for (month to month is available) we deliver it and you install it. A small deposit and 1st month will be due at time of delivery. Once the rent time is completed, we contact you and pick it up. All we ask is that you take care of the item as if it was yours (keep in mind the retail value), let us know if the car seat will ever be traveling (for warranty purposes), that's all. If the car seat ever gets messy and you needed detailed, we can pick it up,clean it and re-deliver it for a small cost. Peg- Perego
