Plains View Farm 2023 Opening day = Friday, November 24 Opening day = Friday, November 25 … Cash or check only please. We're usually down at the barn by 9 and stay open until 4ish.
(2)

Permanently closed.

Plans are to be open Thanksgiving weekend, and possibly the following weekend unless we're short on trees. We have Fraser Firs (but nothing over 7 feet), Norway Spruce, and Blue Spruce. We also have a couple of sections of larger trees; if you select one of these, we can use our tractor to load it for transport (baling is usually not possible for these trees). Trees in our main fields are hand-tri

mmed every year. This is a cut-your-own farm. If you forget your saw you can borrow ours! If you're unable to cut your tree, our staff will provide assistance. We'll bring your tree down, bale it, and help you load / tie it onto your car. We'll have a tree-drilling machine along with compatible tree stands, plus a tree "shaker," waterers, clean-up bags, and preservative (recommended for spruce trees). Trees up to 8 feet are $70, tax included. Larger trees will be priced individually. Cash or check only please. Tractor-drawn hay rides to the fields will be available (weather permitting). Hot cider, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies (from Grandma Wade's recipe) will be available ... while supplies last! Please feel free to bring your (leashed and dog'n people friendly) dog. It is very important that you clean up after your dog. We wish you a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season !
