Goodbye Winter!
We've been busy on the cabins, and this time, we've stripped 3 out of 4 cabin floor, sanded them, and given them new, beautiful coats of polyurethane! We will be starting on the last one, just as things start to pick up! Please check out the pics and know we're always working to keep them in tip-top shape!

We've now added some new chairs and a new table out on the porch of all four cabins! We've also added the ability to add an extra twin bed, to your cabin, if you need just a bit more room for extra people to sleep! We thought $10 bucks for the entire time you stay, was a pretty good price, since it could save you from having to rent a second cabin for more family members! Takes up some room, but you save money, and gain a family member! :)

Been a while, but we've done so much to the cabins, there isn't much left to update! BUT, we did come up with a new idea, and that was to add these really nice log-cabin styled swings! Each cabin has their own swing, and they have been tested by us, as we relaxed after each installation! :D

We hope you all enjoy this new addition, and find your way to staying with us in the future!

A guest suggested we put in shelves for the microwaves. It would free up more counter space. We thought it was a great idea so here we are! The coffee makers can be moved to the top of the microwave, if needed, to free up more space. :)

We've built attached sheds for all the hunters who need lots of storage! Key-code locks and cameras will secure your belongings! Flat fee of $20, no matter how long you stay.

We are VERY excited to get one of our big projects off the list! We've brought in TONS of clean rock, to enhance the driving and walking experience at the cabins! Check out the wonderful look of our entrance and parking areas for the cabins!

Couple things to share!
First, we are very excited to announce that since it hasn't gotten very bad weather-wise, we were able to get the picnic tables completely redone! We also are pleased to share some gifts, one of our guests left, from their Son's restaurant in Tonganoxie. They are struggling with shutdowns, so please check them out if you're in the area, when things open up.

Some very successful hunters staying in our cabins this year! These folks both got a deer, and were kind enough to take pics of the second one for us, before they skinned it...for a more online-acceptable picture. The bar that is embedded in the tree, makes for a great spot for this! Thanks guys and glad you had great luck! They are all the way from Michigan!

Quite a few things to report on this round! First, we are replacing ALL of our pillows! However, we are going a step further, and putting them all inside pillow protectors. Now, we can wash the pillow cases, but also, the pillow protectors, so you now have protection from the last guest! Next, we finally got our shower heads changed from the old shower head, to the new filtered shower head! Totally cool! We wanted to tell everyone that with these new grills we installed, we actually clean them after EVERY use. As an example, the grill in the picture has been used approximately 9-10 times. Never will you open the grill, and face someone else's burnt on food and grease. And finally, we've installed solar lights at each cabin, to help guide you in, during those late night arrivals. We have some fun updates! First, we've added a swing for the smaller kids to use with their parents! Second, we're testing a new setup in our Queen cabins, by adding a Twin bed, for those requesting the cabin, but need more than one bed! We can add and remove this, as the requests come in. Finally, a HUGE thank you to Danny Mccullough for replacing the C with a B, on our entry sign! He's extremely busy, and he got it done, and didn't tell us, so we were shocked! Hope everyone is doing OK in these strange times!

Fun announcement! We've retired the grills we got, when we bought the cabins, and we are replacing them with FOUR new, 3-burner propane grills! We supply the propane, when requested, and we won't have to worry about any burners not working. Enjoy future guests!

So as we work on the refurbishing of the picnic tables, we are excited to receive our shower filters!! These claim 15-stages of filtration so your shower experience, at the end of the day, is as refreshing as possible! Just another add-on amenity, to set us apart from the other rentals you could choose from!

Exciting news that I think our guests will love! We just purchased 4 picnic tables and placed them at each cabin! We'll be working on getting each one re-painted and new replacement wood, if needed. But having a picnic table to use, we think, is a great addition! Thanks to Danny Mccullough for the information on the sale!

We had a wonderful surprise as a police officer and his family stayed in our cabins this weekend! He presented us with this coin. First gift we've ever received! What a great surprise!

We have a fun update! We are painting the inside bathroom doors on all cabins (stained from towels being hung over them), and the outside doors. We are also installing new vinyl blinds (instead of the paper ones), and we're re-painting the outside-fronts of all cabins. Great upgrades and they are looking great!
