I had the opportunity to talk with a repairman yesterday and our conversation led to this very thing. Then, this morning, this was the topic(perfectly timed) in my daily devotional! He is a 1st generation Haitian immigrant who has stopped going to Church because of the failures of the people that make up that Church. We are all “people who fail” in Gods eyes. HOWEVER, we ALL have the gift of Jesus and through that gift, we have been forgiven and renewed. Don’t expect the Church to be perfect because it can not be when we the people make up the Church but we can strive to make it better by allowing Jesus to guide and teach us.
