📰 When I ordered 10,000 holiday-themed newpapers to be printed in the middle of the summer, it felt a little crazy. But picturing your kiddos turning its pages and discovering so many fun and magic-filled details made it feel like a risk worth taking. We shipped out SO many issues of the North Pole Times this fall, and even ordered a SECOND print run in November to make sure we had enough issues in stock for your last-minute holiday orders. Even this week with Christmas around the corner, I've had neighbors running over to pick up their copy from our front porch. 🏃🏼‍♀️⏳️⁠

Storytime: When I was little, my cousin and I would decorate gingerbread houses every year. My aunt would painstakingly bake the walls and roof pieces, we would assemble our houses, and then she'd send us to play outside until the frosting had set. We would spend a whole afternoon covering every last inch of our houses with candies we had saved from Halloween, drawing pathways and ice rinks with the frosting. It was a day-long ordeal, and it remains one of my favorite memories of Christmas! ✨️⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠

Our Story

HELLO! We're so glad you're here! Founded by Lindsay Henry, Inklings is based outside of Detroit, Michigan: a city with a whole lot of heart, and a whole lot of hustle. Our sustainably-produced paper goods are born out of a love for beautiful typography, thoughtful design, and a dash of whimsy. We believe in the power of the handwritten note, and are committed to creating products that inspire kindness and bring joy to life's many little celebrations!

OUR TEAM

It takes a village to do what we do! Our small team consists of a group of passionate people who are committed to creating beautiful, meaningful products. In addition to our full-time team, we have an awesome community of women who help to package our paper goods. We also partner with a local program that provides job training for young adults with special needs. From the quality of our materials to the care that goes into designing and packaging each and every item we make, we hand-inspect each card to ensure that no detail goes unnoticed.
