Storytime: When I was little, my cousin and I would decorate gingerbread houses every year. My aunt would painstakingly bake the walls and roof pieces, we would assemble our houses, and then she'd send us to play outside until the frosting had set. We would spend a whole afternoon covering every last inch of our houses with candies we had saved from Halloween, drawing pathways and ice rinks with the frosting. It was a day-long ordeal, and it remains one of my favorite memories of Christmas! ✨️

It's been a hard week. Often, how one responds to loss reveals more about a person's character than winning does. I was impacted by these words from Kamala's concession speech on Wednesday. A link to the full transcript is at the bottom. ☀️ . . .
"A fundamental principle of American democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the results. That principle, as much as any other, distinguishes democracy from monarchy or tyranny. And anyone who seeks the public trust must honor it. At the same time, in our nation, we owe loyalty not to a president or a party, but to the Constitution of the United States, and loyalty to our conscience and to our God. I obtained my U.S. Citizenship during the pandemic after living in this country for almost 20 years with a Greencard. I wasn't able to bring any family members with me to the swearing in ceremony at the Detroit City Hall to share the moment with me, but I snapped a selfie outside of the courthouse (swipe). Today was especially meaningful to me as I voted for the first time.
Your voice matters. If you haven't voted yet today, there's still time. Don't wait twenty years to get out there and let your voice be counted. 🇺🇸

So berry tired! ✨️🍓✨️ Our Inklings x Meijer LIMITED EDITION sticker collection hit last month, and it's been SO fun seeing which ones you guys are liking from the 22 sets we designed. (Spoiler alert: the dog, cat and sarcastic stickers have a strong lead) 🐶🐱😇
Growing up in the 80's, I loved collecting stickers as a kid, so illustrating these was really nostalgic and fun for me. We’ll be releasing a ✨️NEW✨️ sticker collection every quarter, so run to your local Meijer store and get them while you can! 🏃♀️

It takes a village to do what we do! Our small team consists of a group of passionate people who are committed to creating beautiful, meaningful products. In addition to our full-time team, we have an awesome community of women who help to package our paper goods. We also partner with a local program that provides job training for young adults with special needs. From the quality of our materials to the care that goes into designing and packaging each and every item we make, we hand-inspect each card to ensure that no detail goes unnoticed.
