I’m spending four nights at the adults-only Riu Latino in Costa Mujeres before moving on to our second resort right next door. This is my first stay here and I have to say that it is a very solid budget-friendly resort option. Beautiful grounds, four pools, including a couple swim-up pool bar options, and there’s even a really nice water slide area! And did I mention the absolutely gorgeous beach?

Tomorrow I fly out from Chicago to Amsterdam where I will meet up with other agents from my host agency and spend a couple of days before boarding Ama Waterways for their 7-night Captivating Rhine River cruise. Spending a few days enjoying what Riu Dunamar in Costa Mujeres, Mexico has to offer. While it’s a family-friendly resort with an amazing little water park area, there are lots of couples and friend groups here as well. The adults-only pools with swim-up bars are very poplular! Also noteworthy, this resort always prices very well and has an absolutely gorgeous beach.
