Plan your next Spring trip Plymouth and check out the Plimoth Grist Mill! 🌿🌊🌽

Originally run by John Jenney until his death in 1644, the Plimoth Grist Mill was rebuilt on its original site in 1970 after a fire in 1837. This fully functional mill replica uses water power from Town Brook to grind corn.

Visitors can see the water wheel, grain grinding, and buy cornmeal at the Mill. The Museum offers educational experiences and plans a science exhibit on water power and Town Brook's ecology, along with observing the alewife migration in spring.

Near Plymouth Rock stands a statue honoring William Bradford, a prominent figure among the Mayflower Pilgrims. Taking the reins of leadership in the Plymouth Colony following John Carver's passing, Bradford's influence left an indelible mark on the colony's early history. Originally a Puritan from Yorkshire, he eventually made his home in Plymouth and held the position of Governor intermittently for approximately thirty years. Through his journal, "Of Plimoth Plantation," Bradford provides a fascinating insight into the colony's formative years. 🌟📜
