"Bear’s Lakeview Chalet, hosted by James and Stephanie was a perfect home for a weekend away for our family. James and Stephanie were awesome to work with from the beginning, their communication was great and they were so welcoming with their home, they even left a little welcome package for the kids. Their attention to detail was exceptional. The house has everything you need and was very clean, you feel right at home. We enjoyed sitting by the fire watching the snow come down while overlooking the lake. The hot tub was also a great addition we all enjoyed. We couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend away. Thank you James and Stephanie and we look forward to revisiting your beautiful home in the summer."

Went for a bike rail excursion on the Pennsylvania Rail Bike in Hawley, PA. It was a perfect day for the trip. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the river along the old trains tracks.

Two bucks were right outside our loft window by our driveway sparring early in the morning. Getting ready for the chance to start a family of their own sometime soon.

Went to a fall fair at Mountainview Winery and had some good food and wine. We had the wood fired pizza and two flights of the red wines. We ended up with a bottle of Split Rail Red, very nice middle of the road red. Stormi was asked to participate in a photo shoot for the winery by the vines. The wedding party bachelorette group had fun modeling with her. There many vendors with various foods, drinks, art and crafts, etc. It was a great fall day.

Light the night at Arrowhead Lake was a nice night kayaking out on the lake. It was nice to see everyone out with their boats, canoes and kayaks decorated with all the different lighting.

This is a great place to go for a hike. There several choices for hiking at varying levels of difficulty. The parking lot is very close to some of the waterfalls so it's easy to get to see them without a difficult hike. There are other paths available for longer hikes at a moderate difficulty. It was enjoyable to be out in nature and see some very nice waterfall scenery.

We went to Cove Haven to see a free comedy show and a band. The band was very good and the comedy show was entertaining. Going to Cove Haven is like stepping back into the 70's or 80's. Drinks were good and not too overly priced. We enjoyed the show and being there with friends.

We had a big visitor yesterday. Moseyed on through the backyard and down our back driveway and then went off into the woods by our neighbor.
