👋 Hey, everyone! I just had to share this little gem of a find with you all. The other day, I was in Lihue, Kauai, taking my car for a safety check, and on the way out, I stumbled upon the cutest poke shop! 🐟

Now, I'm pretty picky when it comes to poke, but let me tell you, this place blew me away! 🤯 The fresh es’s and flavor was out of this world, and I couldn't help but think back to what a wise man once told me - eat where the mechanics and taxi drivers eat. And boy, did that advice pay off! 🙌

Lawai'a Fish Co is hidden in an unassuming neighborhood in Lihue's industrial part of town, but don't let that fool you. This place is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to all our Poipu Gardens guests out there. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! 😋

If you ever visit Kauai, please check out Monkeypod Jam! They are hosting very interesting cooking classes for adults and kids. It would be such a fun and unique experience for you on this garden isle.

These Hawaiian style hot dogs are to die for, especially when you have a lot of room in your belly!

They are also a quick, kind, and inexpensive alternative to the fast food joint's we would never recommend.

One word that comes to mind with this local, Hawaiian specialty cafe and eatery is accommodating. Concerning your order, whatever you ask for is taken into thoughtful consideration.

The food and drink themselves are equally thoughtful. One review suggests the breakfast items, especially the french toast. Another reviewer suggests the Kalua Pork Fried Rice.
