It was extremely tough. I was then 10 when I returned to England and another boarding school. This time I was the tough one!! After school and university I had a variety of jobs. From working on a cruise ship as Entertainment Officer to working as a sales rep for a publishing house. The publishing house gave me the toughest area of London, where I doubt a lot of people had even seen a book. In tw
o years I turned that area into the top producing area of England for them. The company decided to thank me, by moving me to another area to do the same, so I quit. Eventually I got into the travel business. I would work in the summer for a coach tour operator escorting people around Europe. In the winter I worked in ski resorts as a photographer, then later when I had qualified as a Ski Instructor in Italy. I successfully worked my way up the ladder, each company a step up. Apart from being very successful, plus making money, I enjoyed my life to the full. During that time I lived in Italy, Mexico, England, France and lastly the USA. I moved to the USA in 1997, bought a boat and some property and have been working in both fields ever since. I have a luxurious Catamaran in the British Virgin Islands, looked after by a full time crew, and it is usually out on charter. Now all my energy is focused on real estate. A very challenging, fun business to be in. I specialize in an area from Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton, Florida, within one mile of the beach. It can be houses, condos or investment property. In my office there is a finance department, helping with mortgages, especially for foreigners, I work closely with 2 title companies, and even have excellent relations with removal companies. So I can offer the complete package.
