Thinking about starting out 2024 with a first of the year hike?
Just in case our Waterfall Maps can help motivate you, here they are to save you a scroll - map links are in comments below.
But before you go, did you know that you can apply filters? Both our BIG map (800 Falls) and our Easy Access/ Short Hike map (80 Falls) has a few filters you can select to remove / add the layers of perceived hiking ability.
To do that:
1. When you’ve opened the map, tap the white title bar at the bottom
2. Tap on the ‘view legend’ wording.
The map legend explains the color coding for the pins and symbols.
3. As you scroll down, you’ll see blue check marks on the left - these can be unchecked by tapping on them, and will remove the pins in the layer that you don’t want to show on the map.
For more tips on how to best use our Waterfall Maps, visit the pinned posts at the top of our page. There are several videos in the map thread there that can help!

Bear Mountain Retreat Tour
Check out this tour of Bear Mountain Retreat! We are almost fully-booked for the Summer, but there are still a couple of openings left in July and August.
