As summer turns to fall, Orlando International Airport (MCO) continues to work to make travel better for everyone. MCO's traffic has seen tremendous growth over the last four years, and now handles 14% more passengers than it did pre-Covid, that's an average of over 20,000 additional passengers every day! To provide a better passenger experience for the 58 million annual passengers that choose MCO, there are several enhancements and construction projects which are, or soon will be, underway.

The Pedestrian Bridge will be an elevated, enclosed and air-conditioned pedestrian walkway approximately 450 feet in length, bridging the gap between the Train Station and Terminal C.

It will provide direct access to Terminal C, Parking Garage C, the Train Station and the Terminal Link people mover to Terminals A & B, and will feature four moving walkways in addition to elevators, escalators and stairs. An adjacent rental car lobby area is also planned for future development.
Substantial completion is expected later this fall.

The 4 New Boarding Bridges at Terminal C are designed to be multifunctional, capable of handling a variety of aircraft, operating domestic and international flights.

The Airport plans to refurbish the interiors of Levels 1, 2 & 3 of Terminals A & B to bring these facilities up to the elevated standards seen in other parts of the airport.

Including contemporary interior finishes, seating, wayfinding, gate counters, and lighting improvements to the two original Gates Areas, 1-29 & 30-59.

The European Union is introducing two important changes for travel to Europe. These are:

EU Entry/Exit System (EES), which is planned to launch on 10th November in 2024.
European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), due in mid-2025.

The EU Entry/Exit system is a new electronic system that will replace the physical stamping of passports when you go through passport control when arriving in and departing from your destination. It will register all entries and exits to and from the participating European countries, which basically means it will register your movements every time you cross a border in or out of the EU/Schengen area.

Once the new system is live, when you go through passport control on your arrival to, and departure from your destination, as well as providing your passport you will also need to have a photo of your face taken, and your fingerprints scanned.

In Cyprus and Ireland, despite being countries of the European Union, passports are still stamped manually.

Hearing feedback on our clients trips always puts a smile on our faces! 😊

My husband and I are returned from Prague June 1st, and we had a wonderful trip thanks in large part to the guided tours and time well spent with Ivana and Martin. Both Ivana and Martin were excellent in their depth of knowledge of the history, area, topics and both were both very professional and personable. We highly recommend both guides and would definitely schedule time with them again if/when we revisit Prague as they were both outstanding.

In addition, the airport transfers and the drivers for that transportation and for the trip to Kunta Hora were seamless and professional.

By the way, the restaurant Next Door by Imperial was outstanding, and we ended up eating there twice for dinner. Our other favorite spot was La Republica which was also within easy walking distance of the hotel and casual after a long day out and about. I had zero issues with my food allergies and surprising, ended up eating fish most meals.

Thanks again for all your help in arranging the Prague tours and dinner reservations. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip!
