The Bahamas Wedding of the Year!!! 🇧🇸💍🥂
Unfortunately the island had a TON of rain the day of the ceremony but Phil & Ariel were troopers during the last minute changes that moved their ceremony and reception location off the private island that was originally planned.
The wedding’s team at made a miracle happen and the wedding ended up being a beautiful success!!
I will be forever thankful that they invited me to join them on this journey and look forward to booking many more trips together. 🏝️

It’s travel day for the Bride & Groom! ✈️
Words cannot explain the excitement I have for this amazing couple and their large group of family and friends to be finally heading down to The Bahamas to celebrate their wedding!
The Back Story-
Ariel reached out to me almost two years ago and said they were interested in a destination wedding. The bride and groom are the most laid back and easy going people I’ve ever met, so their only wedding requirements were a fun, easy wedding with as little stress as possible.
We quickly got to work planning the trip and the wedding, then ALL their friends and family began joining in. What started as a smaller affair became a huge event with tons of thought and care put into the details. The final product will be the wedding of their dreams, with little details and fun extras that encapsulate their relationship.
The Good Stuff-
Ariel and Phil will be enjoying 10 nights in a beachfront butler suite, a beachfront welcome cocktail party with their family and friends, a beautiful beachfront wedding ceremony on Sandals private island followed by a reception that I know will be incredible. They lucked out and received a $250 spa credit so they can unwind with a romantic couples massage.
Plus- since they’re bringing a large group they were able to get $$ credits to put towards their wedding extras.

My love for travel began the very first time I left the country. I went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Grand Cayman and was completely blown away with the Caribbean beauty and culture. From that point on- I came down with a serious case of wanderlust for the Caribbean!
This desire to travel led my husband and I to have a Sandals Destination Weddingmoon at Sandals Barbados in Bridgetown, Barbados in December of 2018. It was such an amazingly easy, romantic, and perfect experience that when we returned- I couldn't stop talking about our destination wedding to anyone and everyone who would listen. I had such a passion for talking about travel, particularly traveling for a wedding- that I decided I want to help people to have the same experience that we did. That's when Treat Yourself Vacations, LLC was born.
Since July of 2019- I have visited several Sandals Resorts on many different Caribbean islands, completed the Certified Sandals Specialist training, attended and completed the Sandals Wedding Specialist Training at Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas. Treat Yourself Vacations, LLC is partnered with a Sandals Preferred Agency, meaning we are recognized as loyal partners and Sandals Experts. My biggest focus is on Sandals and Beaches Destination Weddings and Weddingmoons. Since I’ve had my own Sandals Weddingmoon, I understand the value and extravagance of what Sandals and Beaches can offer a bride and groom. I will assist my clients in achieving the wedding of their dreams by creating a seamless experience and smooth transition between wedding and honeymoon.
