Good morning, I wanted to take a moment to give an updated list of available trips and pricing for the fall and winter months.

Sunset cruise, 2 hour up to 6 people 200 6-8pm bring a few beverages and play some great music while we cruise

Evening/ night fishing dock lights and structure 6pm-9-10pm 300 for the boat up to 4 anglers

4 hour inshore half day 500 targeting tog/drum/sheep's/ trout, weather will dictate what we can target

6 hour inshore 650 targeting tog/drum/sheep's/ trout, weather will dictate what we can target

Weekend inshore fishing 7am-3pm full day. 800 up to 5 anglers, walk-ons 200 per person.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, as Cobia season winds down and we get ready to close the door on another beautiful summer. I have the last week of the season open and available. I will be on vacation from my full-time job so the boat is open everyday the 8th through the 15th.

I will plan on running everyday that weather allows. Launching from messick point boat ramp in Poquoson, VA 7am-330pm

I will accommodate four guests on these trips. We will be sight fishing with some bottom fishing in the afternoon.

$1,000 for the boat plus mate tip

I will also look into doing walk-ons at 250 a person plus mate tip. Don't miss your shot at these delicious fish before they head out until next year.

Set out first thing in the morning chumming with no love. Caught one 36 in right as we were pulling all the lines up.

Start sight fishing. Saw a couple of pods on the back of turtles but never got our shot before the turtle went down except for once. Caught a 38-in off of it.

Kept working all day. Saw a ton of fish but we're lock jaw. Scratched out two keepers at 41 and 46 in. Definitely saw some nice fish today but just wouldn't eat. Beautiful day! Had a great time in the tournament. Saw a lot of friends out. We'll get them next time

We snuck out yesterday afternoon for a half day. Charter was supposed to be 3:00 to 7 :00 which turned into 3:00 to 8:30. Super slow day. We worked the cy to the 3rd and 4th islands. Bridge pillings to buoys, the bait balls. We covered a lot of ground and a lot of different structures. Literally only saw one fish.

As the time winded down somewhere around 7:00, we were working the bait balls again and my client Gage was throwing a version of a silver spoon with a treble hook on it into the bait balls trying to catch some blues or some Spanish. He snags them in Hayden and I told him to toss it back in there and let it sink.

About 30 seconds after it hit the water it was game on. He immediately hooked up, which we assumed it was just a big blue that probably tried to sn**ch it in about 30 seconds later. The Cobia skied out of the water like a largemouth bass. Scott about four times and I swore that little silver spoon was going to come loose. Gage put in work. Kept pressure on that. Fish kept tension on that fish and the smallest rod with the lightest leader line and the lightest pound test on the boat with the smallest hook on the boat landed the only Cobia of the day.

Fish went 43 in! Not only his first Cobia but his biggest fish ever as well. Definitely made the young man's day! But caught a handful of little blue fish one night size blue off the bridge pilings while I was blind casting a chong's jig in there. Very slow day but an epic end. We grinded hard for that fish but everybody went home with a little bit of meat. And we had an absolute beautiful show that God put on for us on the ride end

Hell of an afternoon trip! What an EPIC EVENING!!! The day started off slow. We left the dock at 2:00 and steamed out to where I was getting some good Intel. We looked around. We searched. We ran over two fish within the first 2 hours. That was it. Very slow. Start. Kept moving. Kept looking with no luck. Caught a small 29 in off of bait ball.

While working our way back to the area we started ran into my good buddy Harry and from some of his Intel I felt good about my decision on the direction I was heading so we kept on chugging.

Once we got to the spot slowed it down. It was game on! We saw a pair with one big girl swimming and my mate Ryan did. The rest. Made a perfect cast with the eel and she crushed it. After about a 20-minute fight, we had a 57-in 54 pounder in the boat!

As we gathered ourselves and got back focused, we came across a pot of four fish which one ate a bucktail. When we went to set the hook came right on out. Heartbreaking. I dropped an eel right in the middle of all four of them cuz at that point they were right beside the boat and they wanted nothing to do with it. We sat there for a little bit trying but no luck.

What's up working? Kept working. Saw a couple other fish with no luck and at the drop of the last hour I said we're going to work two more areas and head on in and right about 7:30 I came across the second big fish. Put an eel right across her face and she could not deny falling for that sweet sweet candy! She engulfed it and the fight was on ! This fish did not want to give up. She was super heavy and she fought hard but eventually she gave in. We landed our 53-in release citation for some paperwork and ended a great day!

Today's charter 7/14

We shot out first thing in the morning. Offshore. Found some big swells and had to slow it down to get out there. Forecast was anywhere from 3 to 4 ft at 7 seconds when in reality they were closer to 6 ft but still somewhere around 7 seconds. Some really big swells out there first thing in the morning

We finally found our way to the windmills and immediately found the spades... We thought it was about to be on and boy were we wrong. They would not eat anything. Chum in the water moved all around it. They just were not interested. Put baits in front of the schools multiple times with no luck.

We picked up and headed to the seabass grounds. We worked the northeast corner of the triangles. We worked about six different hangs and could not find a quality bite eventually pulled in a total of 13 keepers. Definitely not the bite we were looking for, but as most of you know this season has been absolutely horrible.

At this point we decided to head in and try to look for a man in a brown suit. As we got back inside we immediately came across a big girl. Through a ill at her she engulfed it and the fight was on. After about 15 minutes and two of my clients tag teamed her to get her in. We had a 58.7 lb citation in the boat. If only we had entered the tournament 🤣 All in all was a solid day and everyone had a good time but not the meat Hall we were looking for. We didn't try for any flounder. Looking back I shouldn't have wasted the time with the spades and went for the flounder but I got into hell of a good bite which we all know that could change day to day.
