Fish Friday: Tim and Angela Goldstein of Corpus Christi took first place in the unguided division at the Hunt for Reds October fishing tournament held in Port Aransas on Saturday, Oct 5. (Photo by Alex Berksan.) The Goldsteins had the heaviest stringer (18.35 pounds), longest red (25 7/8 inches) and a total of four spots.

Guided winners for Hunt for Red October!! Guide is Mitchell Collins & winners are Jan & Alan Colley. Jan is holding the winning spots of 14 !! Great job guys.

Unfortunately we failed to get a pic. of the Unguided Div. But congrats to Tim & Angela Goldstein!!

We had a total of 16 entries for the tournament. We met our goal of $2500.00 to be donated to Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Day School.

The Guided Division was won by Jan & Alan Colley part-time residence of Port A & Ruidoso New Mexico. Their Captain Mitchell Collins put them on the Heaviest Stringer 19.41 lbs, Longest Red 28", and with a grand total of 14 spots. Not only did they win overall total they also won the Calcutta and Cash Pots. So good day for the locals.

The Non-Guided was won by Tim & Angela Goldstein of Corpus Christi with Heaviest Stringer 18.35 lbs, Longest Red 25 7/8" and with grand total of 4 spots. Unfortunately they did not enter in Calcutta and Cash Pots.
These were won by locals John Neblett & Nick
