We regret to announce the discontinuation of ARK tours in 2024. A change in permit policies requires modifications in order to exhibit residents to the public. We’ve chosen to continue rehabilitations and pursue the ARK mission.

Yesterday a sweet young girl asked me if all the buddies were out as she couldn’t find the one she did for last year’s display. I said they were all out but I was wrong…here it is. It’s now proudly leading the parade. I hope she sees this post and finds it on display. She taught herself to crochet just to do buddies.
HOORAY we found her and she has seen it. Thank you Facebook friends 👏👏👏

Looking for the PERFECT Christmas Card photo op? We got you! Scuba St. Nick and his elf are coming into town and diving on down! Starting Saturday, Dec. 9, through Saturday, December 23, St. Nick is trading in his sleigh and fur coat for some fins and a wetsuit and plunging into the H-E-B Caribbean Sea exhibit for a unique encounter and festive photo op with our guests! Scuba St. Nick will dive TUESDAY to SUNDAY at 2:00 p.m.

Vince Clardy and his son Kip opened Port A Palm Trimmers, LLC in June of 2021.

They offer tree removal, tree trimming, and installation of Christmas lights. They are a locally owned and operated business. They also repurpose materials they cut down to create home furnishings and art with artist Larry Rackley!
