Steve Hummert and Bentley came down for today to catch tarpon. It was another great day. Jumped one off on the first drop and second drop we landed a double. They were chomping early then bite quit. We found them again late and ended with another double with fish weighing 120 and 150. Anyone wanting to get in on the tarpon action on the next weather window let me know.

Alan Jones wanted his nephews to catch fish. Yesterday evening it was bull red after bull red until they were wore out. This morning we sent them home with some redfish fillets.

Jennifer Reid Combs and Keith Combs came down for their anniversary and the fishing didn’t disappoint. Landing over 70 bull reds and jacks over 2 days all on artificial. Thats well over a tons worth in weight. Both went home tired and sore.

A nice surprise this afternoon while snapper fishing. Had her about 10 minutes before she through the hook after all those crazy jumps. Had some big red snapper and mangroves to go with it.

Another good day on the tarpon grounds. 2 for 5. Biggest being 76” fork length around 150lbs.

Hit the tarpon grounds at 2:45 by 2:50 we had a double hooked up. Crazy jumps on a giant resulted in thrown hook. Second fish got within 10’ of the boat before pulling the hook. Took a couple hours before we got another tarpon on the line but got here all the way to the boat. Try again tomorrow.

Cheezy Stuart brought his crew down and wore out the big dogs today. Tracy Lablonk, Cheezy got him a 45”+ Bruiser today.
