That’s right! This Saturday, Sept. 7, the fishing license requirement will be waived for all recreational saltwater anglers, including both residents and non-residents. Avid anglers, this is an excellent opportunity to teach friends and family the ropes!

We hope you and your loved ones have been able to stay safe during Tropical Storm Debby.

Last month, we relaunched the project in Zooniverse, where trained volunteers are helping us analyze historic fishing photos to learn more about South Atlantic fisheries. We were thrilled to celebrate the project’s relaunch with SciStarter through a live online event! We dove into the project, shared some of its background, and even analyzed some of FISHstory photos during the event.
