Disney just dropped big news for 2024!

Here are the details:

1: Starting on January 9th, 2024 theme park reservations will not be required for date-based tickets.

2: Annual Passholders and Cast Members will be able to visit the parks on select days without theme park reservations with new “Good-to-go days”

3: Disney dining plans are coming back starting January 9th, 2024!

4: Early theme park entry for Disney hotel guests will continue throughout 2024 along with extended evening hours for guests staying at a deluxe resort or deluxe villa

5: Changes are coming to Genie+ so that more planning can be done in advance

💵 Budget is generally the most important part of planning a vacation.

As a Travel Advisor, my job is to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck all while staying within your requested budget.

It is important to know that you CAN do Disney on a BUDGET! I know Disney price tags can be scary! There are ways to make sure you have a magical vacation, all while staying within a certain price point.

Here are some helpful tips:

1. Stay at a Value resort! Disney has 5 value resorts on property that include standard rooms all the way up to family suites. Their modest per night pricing allows families to enjoy their Disney Vacation without the stress of over spending.

2. No one said you have to eat Disney food! Pack snacks and lunches! Use apps like Instacart to have food delivered to your room. This will most definitely save you a good amount of money throughout your stay..even if its just for 1 meal per day!

3. All Disney resorts have fantastic pools and fun for everyone entertainment! Spend some of your vacation soaking up the sun poolside, and experiencing what your resort has to offer.

4. Disney gift cards can be purchased at a discounted rate at places like Target (with a red card), Sams Club, and BJ's. Snag these deals for your spending money! Or, even to pay into your trip.

5. Hopper tickets are great but more expensive. Base tickets are just as wonderful! Spend your entire day enjoying what 1 park has to offer.

6. Check your local stores for Disney Park items like bubble wands and Minnie ears. Purchasing these items in the park can be very costly, especially with multiple children. Buy this stuff ahead of time, and pack it in your suitcase.

Remember, Disney is magical no matter how much your trip costs you!!

2023 bookings for Walt Disney World are available NOW and you might be thinking:

⁉️Why book a Disney vacation so early⁉️

Here are just a few reasons:

✅ Availability. I realize there are LOTS of Disney resorts and a lot of rooms, so how is availability an issue? Well, it just is. Resorts book up quickly, and most deluxe resorts hold back rooms for Disney Vacation Club members, which means there’s even less availability at these resorts

✌🏻Payment plans. So few people actually don’t take advantage of payment plans. Did you know if you cancel 30 or more days before your trip, you get a REFUND on EVERYTHING you paid! Don’t let these sites that offer a “discount if you pay in full” fool you! Disney gives you a lot of flexibility!

3️⃣ You have time to PLAN. There’s no rush, no panic mode, just time to be excited about the trip! Time to really think through an itinerary, dining reservations, etc.

🤑 4- you are FIRST in line in getting a promo if it drops. I will always modify my current clients before booking new ones because promos WILL sell out!

💰Let’s talk affordability!

❓A comment I get a lot is “Disney is not affordable” or “It’s not in my price range.”

🙋🏻‍♀️ I have the perfect answer for that question / concern. YES! Yes, you can afford Disney.

🔑 The key is booking in advance! You can book 7️⃣, 8️⃣, 9️⃣, 🔟, or MORE months in advance.

💰 All you owe up front is your $200 deposit. $200 secures your entire package.

🆒 The cool thing about the remaining payments is that you can pay in any increment, at any time YOU WANT as long as it is paid in full 3️⃣0️⃣ days prior to travel. YOU make the payment plan, YOU are in control. I will submit the payments while you carry on with life. You can pay weekly, monthly, or save and pay one lump some at the 30th day before travel. I’ve also seen clients purchase discounted Disney gift cards in bulk at Costco then send me those gift card numbers at the end.
