South Coast Tours will take you to amazing wild places along the south coast . We conduct freshwater, estuary, and trips into the nearshore ocean from the Coos Bay area to Brookings. Fishing, wildlife viewing, whale watching or simply paddling tours abound in southern Oregon. We are also now offering mountain bike shuttles and mountain bike and paddling combos on the Rogue River.

Nellie's Cove beach is a sweet spot to take a break from kayaking and is in the lee of Orford Heads. It sure can be warm and calm down there on most days.

This Grey was "sharking" around in the Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve last summer. Sharking is when a whale swims on its side and half of the fluke is above the surface. It really can look like a shark fin. Our Whale and Wildlife boat tours start in April.

Another season with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife SMURF (Standardized Monitoring Unit for the Recruitment of Fish) contract and another year of data. Here's a baby Tiger that we found in the SMURF on our last trip. It's fun being a part of learning what species are using the reserve and adjacent areas to grow up.
