Not even close when you have a day as gorgeous as today in St Joseph Bay.

What a day for this crew on Salty Fish Excursions - they pulled off a birthday surprise at breakfast, no less! The hurricane may have left the water a bit brackish, but the sun shone bright and the wildlife put on a show. Momma dolphin and calf made an appearance, stingrays swooped by, and fish jumped for joy. This family traveled 7+ hours from opposite directions to meet in Port Saint Joe, and we hooked them up with Italian subs, fruit, and chips on the Cape. Sounds like a blast, right? Secure your own shindig with a refundable deposit and get this party started! Salty Fish Excursions
Had the bay to ourselves this morning.
Flat as it comes
Fun ride
Jetty update, video is not great. Jetty is toe tipping and putting full weight on his left leg, the new bionic one! He is amazing!
Rainy days mean playful days for these pups!
Why did the scallop refuse to share its shell? Because it was being a little shellfish! Speaking of scallops, did you know that they're not fish at all? They're actually bivalves, which means they have two shells held together by the adductor muscle, which is very tasty when prepared properly! So, next time you see a scallop, remember it's more like a tiny, delicious clam with a fancy shell. If you want to find your own scallops, give us a call at (850) 899-4809, – our office hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM, or you can book on line, at www.saltyfishexcursions.com so you can schedule when it is convenient for you. Scallop Harvest Season in Gulf County ends September 24. Cheers!
