Calypso Light Haus by golf cart! This piece of paradise is about 7 hours from Nashville, TN, or a short 5-hour drive from Atlanta, located between Port St. George Island & St.

This lovely spacious vacation home is in a gated community across the street from an ocean-front infinity pool & 2 other pools in other areas of the community, as well as 3 fishing docks in our gated area, & a white sandy beach within 2 min. Joe and Mexico Beach; approx. 15 minutes to Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and a bit further to St. Vincent Island in the heart of "Florida's Forgotten Coast."

It is an uncongested beach escape, perfect for unwinding and recharging while enjoying the simple Florida life which is no longer available in many overbuilt communities. This stunningly immaculate home offers 3 bedrooms, plus a “Bonus Room” which can be used as office space or a sleeper room with a brand new folding ottoman bed. It is also equipped on the ground level with a bunk bed area with an extra cot if needed. The house has access to 2 community pools with restrooms. Ocean access is a short walk and a zero entry pool is located across the street from the home with a clubhouse. Windmark Beach is only a 3 minute golf cart ride away. Parking and restrooms are available at Windmark Beach. Additional Beach Access is about 7 minutes away by golf cart, where bonfires are hosted at various times and pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and the owner picks up after them. Most of the other Gulf County Beaches also allow bonfires and pets on the beach as long as you fill in all holes and "leave no trace behind" to protect the sea turtles. Many of the restaurants are also pet-friendly, where furry friends are treated like family. The front of the home enjoys ocean views while the rear may spy amazing wildlife in the conservation area behind the home. Each of the bedrooms has private decks with seating and the front of the home have decks perfect for entertaining, running the entire length of the home. The beautiful porches and balconies throughout this home have lovely ocean views and seating to enjoy a cup of coffee and feeling the salty, refreshing oxygen-rich breeze. The entry of this home welcomes you with open hallways, stairways, and a "reverse" floor plan that flows from the living room to the dining space and into the kitchen on the top floor to make the most of the spectacular views. The kitchen and living room seating allows for views of the ocean, pine trees, open sky, and the upscale, gated community below. It has access to the front screened-in covered deck which features a lovely outdoor dining table and no outside access to the lower levels below so it is great for keeping children and pets safe. The traditional dining table, accessible to the open floor plan kitchen can accommodate 8 guests and additional countertop seating for 3 guests. The gourmet kitchen features newer appliances. There is a guest bedroom with a brand new queen-sized bed and furniture on this upper level. A full bathroom complements this bedroom as well. A half powder bathroom for convenience is located off the bonus room which leads out to the deck that has the gas grill on it. Go down a flight of stairs, or take the elevator down to visit 2 more large bedrooms each with a king-sized bed and full baths. There is a wet bar, with a wine cooler, coffee maker, and additional outdoor screened-in patio with inviting cushioned chairs to enjoy the view of the conservation area. The newer HE washer and dryer are also located on this level. (The balconies feature hidden "Clotheslines" so towels or bathing suits can "drip dry" in the ocean breeze.) Both of the full baths on that "middle" floor feature dual vanity sinks, and large showers. There is also a soaking tub in one of the full baths. Off of the living space, is the large open-concept stairway leading to the upper level described above or the lower level, hosting 2 twin size sturdy pine-wood bunk beds, built-in bookshelves with children's books. (Card games and classic board games are in the kitchen cabinets). You can access the gated community's dock by walking across the street and behind the clubhouse, past the infinity pool to enjoy prime fishing right off any of the 3 very long docks. The outdoor space of this home provides additional heart-warming features such as the fire pit with seating where marshmallows can be roasted, and chocolate melted to sandwich between graham crackers for s'mores and campfire story-telling can enhance life-long cherished memories in-the-making! The ground floor contains a 3 car garage with one of the spaces housing a 4-seater golf cart. (Must be 21 or older to drive.)

Highlights:

Sleeps 9 or more (6 adults plus 2 bunk beds, and a twin-size fold-out ottoman plus an extra cot.): Guests are welcome to bring extra air mattresses, &/or ask us at booking to arrange it for you. The home is very spacious. A very large walk-in closet connected to the master bedroom could be used to setup your pack and play or cot (provided) along with plenty of space for your own personal belongings. - A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
- Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the arrival date.
