My weekend trip to Raleigh was great. Come with me as I explore.

This trip was so empowering. I often travel alone, this allows me to come out of my shell. It causes me to rely on God to help and protect me. I also have to talk to people and ask lots of questions. Being that I am an educator I love to learn about different things, people and places. ❤️

I am celebrating the small wins in my life. Take the vacation. It doesn’t always have to be a destination trip to a far away country. You can stay right in America and have a great time.

I can’t wait to go back to Jamaica. 🇯🇲 🇯🇲🇯🇲
It just feels so much like home. I wasn’t born or raised in Jamaica but my parents were.

Dad from Mobay and Mom from Portland. I went every summer as a child to see my grandparents and went back once in 2015 and hadnt been back since August. It’s a place that I believe no one can ever get tired of. So much beauty. I love everything about it. From the food, language, style and fashion and the uniqueness of the people. I can be the semi-country girl that I am there and feel embraced.

I did promise a video of my trip there and I’m getting to it. Content creation is a science and takes time especially when your trying to figure out how to use different video apps and such.
