Asana is a Sanskrit word that translates literally to “seat” or “posture”

The word yoga translates to “yoke” mind, body and spirit.

The Asana Sunday Series was born out of our love for practicing yoga at Water’s Edge.
•
This event series is meant for absolutely ANY BODY because to show up and take a seat on our mats, is to have succeeded at “doing yoga”.
•
Asana Sundays give us an opportunity to pause within the 4 corners of our mat and practice mindful movement at whatever level we choose.

Autumn Bliss 2024
•
We’ve only just begun 🍁🍃🍂🥹
•
This past weekend was EVERYTHING I have worked for, cried for, dreamed for, and lived for, nonstop, for 3 entire years.
•
It was October 23rd 2021 the first time I set my eyes upon . I could not believe what I was seeing. “Water’s Edge” had been here all along. Just two miles from the farm where my family and my father’s family had lived for all 85 years of its existence… No one in the area really knew what was down here. For decades, the property had barely been maintained and seemed to be begging to become something truly important to its visitors. From the moment I discovered what was here, it has been my mission to give this property the purpose I envisioned for it.
•
I haven’t told Nate’s story much the past few months… Things got really really hard and complicated. For a minute, I had forgotten the point of it all.
•
Nate was a dear friend who suffered unimaginable emotional pain in his much too short life. He inflicted quite a bit of emotional pain on others as well… we’ve all heard it, “hurt people, hurt people”. He was deep into his spiritual studies and meditation practice when he fell ill. He was reconciling his guilt, love, shame, fear and beliefs. He was working to understand what we’re all doing here, being human, until the moment he took his last breath.
•
Loving Nate, being with him through his suffering, and then losing him, showed me my purpose here and granted me the permission I needed to take on this project and bring a vision of this level of importance to life.
•
Shannon, you brought your vision into mine and I remembered EVERYTHING I’m supposed to be doing here. Nathan would have been honored to meditate with you all, and maybe he did. ❤️

This week will lead our flow into peak week 🍂🍁🍃Danyelle has been in the holistic medicine field for over 15 years. While she brings multiple modality’s into the healing space, she’s been leading yoga classes for a decade. She currently manages of Zelienople.

Danyelle specializes in trauma informed care. When she’s off the mat, she manages her own holistic practice .to.seed.energetix in Harmony, Pa. Within her practice she implements CPT/CNC/Essential Oil Specialist/Reiki Practitioner certifications. Join one of her classes or workshops and experience a powerful blend of wellbeing.
