An all ages dance venue, playing a mix of hip hop, electronic, and contemporary African beats. We c We also experiment with partnering dance technique. All ages.

Spinning an eclectic mix of hip hop, electronic, contemporary African, and more. We get your body grooving, by holding space for you to explore your movement. Come to get down, be yourself, and feel the vibe. BOUNDARY & INCLUSIVITY POLICY:

feel as YOU, to express as YOU in all your genius, creativity and quirkiness. We view inclusiveness as an active moving principle and will continuously take steps towards it. With your presence, we ask YOU to become teacher, grower, communicator, and the avant-garde creator of the space. We warmly welcome all POC, Latinos, Native peoples, minority groups, foreigners, LGBTQIA spectrum people, neuro-atypical people, and people with bodies, minds, and beliefs of all types. We are aware of the risk, threat, and intimidation many face daily, in both overt and covert ways, during such radically political times. The comfort and integration of the community is priority. If anyone sees or experiences questionable behavior, please inform us and we will deal with it accordingly. Furthermore, we welcome all suggestions to make the space more open, warm, safe, and inclusive."

IMPORTANT NEWS: Hi Everyone, we exceeded our noise restrictions last week, and because that's an issue that the venue has been dealing with for many years, it was a one strike policy. So we can no longer use the venue. I'll keep an eye out for something else, but unfortunately the Oogie Boogie is on hiatus until further notice. Thanks everyone who came out to support opening night.
