We're looking for a few great people with Grit to work in Manzanita ,Seaside, Gearhart, Warrenton, and Astoria.
Ideally you are someone that has frequent availability and can be flexible, consistent, reliable and trustworthy.
You will work along side our team to learn our expectations and business model. Our rental homes require kitchen cleaning, bed changing, and refrigerator cleaning, dishes, garbage/recycle, laundry, dusting, steam cleaning, windows, grill and garage cleaning and anything else that may fall into the category of keeping a residential or commercial property in a beautiful/top shape manner.
You may from time to time pick up special items for a guests or a client, guest experience and or pickup supplies or a replacement item.
Our team is very hands on and live close to the area. This is not a typical business to any of us! We strive to exceed people's expectations and treat the people that work with us like family.
We're looking for someone who is meticulous, prideful, has attention to detail and a very strong work ethic.
Applicant with or without experience must be a self starter, think outside the box but also be able to take direction and value constructive criticism. You must be detail oriented and demonstrate a positive team player attitude. "That's not my job" type thinking will serve no purpose in our working together.

Weherdcats RV & Vacation Rentals may lose the right to host guests in Clatsop County because commissioners carelessness with policy and ignorance about the Short Term Rental Industry.

Clatsop County wastes valuable time with commissioners who care more about their next lunch break than taking the time to examine zones carefully and gathering resources about the STR industry. How do you make a descision that will severely impact an entire County so carelessly?

Coming to a state near you..woops my bad...it's already here in Oregon. Here's some trivia. What Senate Bill is it, shout it out and let's all here it!

This article is an example of what's to come and the real truth about the Short term rental industry.

The fight to ban them in Clatsop County wastes valuable time that we could spend collaboratively creating harmony and assets to the community.

Short term rentals are not the cause of housing shortages or completely responsible for their current price. It's a tall tale spun by those with agenda and statistics debunk it over and over.

They do increase value, but so does LESS RESTRICTIVE. CCR'S, like the ones we previously had in Surf Pines.

People are homeless for a variety of reasons that require a variety of social programs and assistance. There are startups like workbnb with a waitlist of STR's that want to solve the workforce housing crisis but that requires different resources than what will resolve drug, alcohol or lack of life skills.

Did you know that I frequently house visiting doctors and their families in Clatsop County? It attracts a doctor to stay longer when they can bring their family and not be held up in a hotel room. It resolves issues when they have only been contracted to stay 2 to 3 weeks and a long term rental wants a year lease at least.

The nuisance STR does exist but it's rare and it's almost always blown out of proportion. The neighbor is willing to go to Safeway and chat it up with their bestie to spread gossip and embellish the story but they arent serious enough to file an official complaint? In a small town, that starts a wild fire of misinformation. Comparatively, there are worse owners to live next to. The ones that don't leave after 2 years are more frightening than the ones that stayed for 2 days.

Just close your eyes for a moment and imagine living next to someone who is monitoring how often you leave your garage light on and complaining about it in HOA meetings. Who ever gave this person the right? Go to bed and don't see! 3rd world problems indeed.

We will spend all this money and tremendous effort to ban them but with the Right regulations, would be better for all.

Enjoy but stay safe!

If we've said it once, we've said it a million times: Giant waves have zero chill. Case in point: king tides.

The first king tides of the winter season are expected to arrive at the Oregon coast this weekend (Nov. 5-7).

King tides are extremely high tides that occur each winter when the moon, earth, and sun align at their closest points.

Along with high tides comes increased risk for anyone daring to step out onto a jetty. Here are some tips to help you stay safe:

🌊 Probably just avoid jetties altogether. Let’s get that right out of the way. If you’re walking out on a jetty during the highest tides of the year, then you’re pretty much saying to yourself, “You know what? I’d like to see if there’s an afterlife.” Or, at the very least, “I’ve always wanted to be a fish.”

🌊 Never turn your back on the ocean. And that’s not just because it’s rude. Sneaker waves could surge with deadly force and remove you from your immediate location in a most impolite manner.

🌊 Assume that nothing is high enough—not even the love you bring Steve Winwood (oh oh). Even if you’re up on a jetty and you feel like Leo DiCaprio on the Titanic, a wave might surprise you with other plans. "Oh! You wanted to go for a swim? Say no more!"

🌊 Stay in shallow water. Of course, if you’re going into the water at all in these parts during November, then we have some questions.

🌊 Stay off logs in the surf or on wet sand. Log some hours elsewhere.

🌊 At the very least, for the love of Green Peter, look at the tide tables: tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/tide_predictions.html?gid=1409

Stay safe out there, everyone, and remember: Jetties are potentially very dangerous places to be. They’re there to aid ships traveling between rivers and the ocean—not for recreational uses. Plus, they’re sensitive to being stepped on.
