Douty Bros has been buying some of the catch through our seat on the Fish Exchange. The shrimp is sweet and delicious.

The results of the test tows are combined with survey results done by the Atlantic States Marine Fishing Commission to determine whether the stock is healthy enough to allow a shrimp season.

A collection of rare finds in our tanks...Yellow, orange, calico and light blue lobsters. Quite a catch!

This female lobster is full of eggs. The fisherman cuts a small v notch in the tail of the lobster and releases her back to the water. If she is caught again this year, she won't be harvested, with the v notch indicating she is a breeder. This is part of what keeps Maine lobster a sustainable resource!
