Midcoast Maine is buzzing with exciting new developments in food and dining! Here are some highlights from Portland Food Map:

Saint George Pizza – Warren
Megs Senk and George Korsnick, formerly of Goods in Camden, have opened Saint George Pizza in Warren. Currently, the cozy pizzeria operates on Fridays (dine-in) and Saturdays (takeout), offering classic and special pizzas, salads, desserts, and a range of drinks. They aim to expand service soon, promising more pizza nights for the community.

Schooner Landing Restaurant and Marina – Damariscotta
After a fire destroyed the iconic Schooner Landing last fall, plans are underway for a revival. This summer, a food trailer will serve customers while a new restaurant is set to break ground in the fall.

Odd Alewives – Waldoboro
Odd Alewives is making a bold shift, focusing solely on their wood-fired pizzas and discontinuing brewery operations. Their decision reflects a commitment to maintaining balance while delivering a simplified yet high-quality experience.

The Place – Camden
The Place bakery continues to make waves, recently named one of the best bakeries in the U.S. by The New York Times. Their unique offerings are a must-try for foodies in the area.
