We had our water heater replaced in November and it’s been great. Then in February we had our circulation pump to our hydronic heating system in the basement replaced. Right after that, we started having complaints about the lack of hot water in the shower. We had to the plumbing company out multiple times and they couldn’t find anything wrong. Still the complaints persisted. We could either have hot water in the shower or heat, but not both. Finally after consulting my brother in law, my friends and reading online, I discovered something simple. ......... they installed the water pump upside down! Instead of pumping hot water out to the shower and radiators, it sucked cold water into them. Such a simple end to a frustrating problems. 2 months worth! In the words of the paperboy from Better Off Dead: “I want my two dollars back!!”
I met a beekeeping hobbyist today. She belongs to a group of beekeepers that respond to swarm calls....typical Portland!
