Maine BayCycle

Maine BayCycle is Portland's first and only human powered waterfront cruise. Cruises are offered by reservation at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 each day.

Maine BayCycle is seeking a captain for hour and a half long cruises along Portland's waterfront aboard our human powered (with auxilary gas motor) pontoon boat.

Description:
As a captain with Maine BayCycle you will conduct cruises with up to 15 passengers in Portland's inner harbor and Fore River. There is no public speaking other than being personable and friendly with customers.

Requirements:
--Possession of Master, 25GT (or greater) Captain's License.
--Experience handling vessels up to 30 feet
--Can pass drug test
--Willing to work weekends, preferably Thursday-Sunday

Responsibilities:
--Operate vessel safely through the Portland Harbor
--Ensure boat is safe, clean and prepped
--Interact with guests in a fun and professional manner
--Keep trip log book

Compensation:
--$25/hr plus gratuities

Employment is offered from late May to early October.
