It’s been a busy week for tour guide Dr. Tanya March. So far six guests are booked for the 3pm history of St. Johns tour. The seasonal balence between tours and the ice rink gig have allowed me to follow my passions.

Tanya March is an expert at creating great ice for skating. And yes, she's met Tonya Harding.

Oregon Historical Society has a sweet holiday exhibition of the former Santa-land once in the basement of Mier and Frank. Tossed in a few picture at the end from when the kids and I went to get pictures with Santa in the old Days. The exhibit has cut the snowman really hope it was not the original the entire point of the snowman was to see if you were short enough to still ride the monorail.

The St Johns History walking tour on the third Saturday of each month at 3pm is never the same exact tour twice. Part of that is Mother Nature. Cathedral Park is a must see. If you are making plan to travel to Portland happy to add additional tour dates. For example many shop owners in St Johns work on Saturday so we added some Friday early morning tours in the summer to beat the heat and add opportunities for others. 🍁

Excited to see an artist painting an amazing window in downtown St Johns just in time for our history tour at 3pm on Saturday. Booking link in our bio. Gremlins are real. I chatted with the artist saying that it would be so cool if he could paint the walls of our ice rink turns out he is painting a rink in Olympia.
