π€ Creative Mornings PKX (Portsmouth & Kittery, Maine) is backβ back in person that is, one per month.
The theme for the Jan. 27, 2023 program was πΊππππππππ, and Portsmouth Poet Laureate* Diannely Antigua presented.
Look for her first collection, πΌπππ π΄ππππ, now. Her second poetry collection will be published with Copper Canyon Press in 2024.
Antigua's Bread & Poetry podcast (https://diannelyantigua.com/bread-poetry-podcast) is also sounding off with new interviews.
It's deep and delightful.
With some baguette heels thrown in for great texture.
In this brief and scattered reel (that cut off Diannely's last name on title pageπ) you will also see Creative Mornings Portsmouth host Noelle Grattan and her former co-host Monte Bohanan. Both bright lights in our Seacoast creative community.
Look for information about the upcoming breakfast lecture series via CreativeMornings/PKX

The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth organized an outing for 24 Granite State Ambassadors (volunteers of varying backgrounds, who share a passion for the Granite State!) to tour some of the Seacoastβs gems: both new and historical.
Ambassadors visited the Seacoast Science Center, The Warner House on Daniel Street, and finished the day with a lunchtime tour of Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club (thanks to Peter Labrie for the history of the building!).
Ben (president and chief collaborator) and Reiley (tourism director) guided the Ambassadors through Portsmouth (plus, everyone got great sandwiches from The Works Bakery & Cafe before the GSAβs left the city.
See you all soon, GSA's!
