Airport Update as of Noon-Wednesday-Oct 9:
Orlando International Airport (MCO) will suspend commercial operations at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9.
Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) will suspend commercial operations at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8.
Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will suspend commercial operations at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9.
Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) will suspend commercial and private flight operations effective 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9.
Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) will suspend commercial flight operations effective 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9.
What this means for MCO is that the major airlines (American, Delta, United, Spirit, Frontier, etc.) will not have any flights taking off or landing after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. Allegiant Airlines is the only airline that flies in/out of Orlando Sanford International Airport, so they will stop flights after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday.

MCO will remain open to allow emergency/aid and relief flights to continue as needed.

Commercial flights will resume once the storm passes and its deemed safe to do so.

Due to the approaching storm expected to impact the Orlando area, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party scheduled for Thursday, September 26th, has been cancelled. Based on the weather forecast and its effect on our outdoor entertainment, we are offering refunds to all ticket holders. Although Magic Kingdom was initially set to close at 6 p.m., we are extending park hours until 8 p.m. to allow guests additional time to enjoy the park.
