Better than a Duck Tour😜🦆
Today we got to embark on a Story Sail during the inaugural Mosquito Fleet Fest in Port Orchard, WA, in the southern region of the Kitsap Peninsula. Narrator Josh Farley shared stories of our community's history along with the Mosquito Fleet's history.
It was wonderful to see over 70 passengers listen and wander as the sail went from the Sinclair Inlet to the passage where Manchester and Bainbridge Island meet. We got to hear stories about orcas in the Salish Sea, what bridges our communities, and more maritime culture and history. The best part was seeing our beautiful peninsula from a different perspective.🥰😍
You can still have a chance to sail on the Virginia V, another vessel for the mosquito fleet, tomorrow, Sunday, May 26th.
