Storm hits Estacion Las Tortuga last week! The station was recently hit by a rain & wind storm that caused significant damage to the roofs of the station. The storm ripped off major roofing in almost all building, and the water that leaked in caused extensive damage to the interior of the station.

Last week EcoTeach staff members, Deb Smucker, Greg Enright, and Liz Wall traveled to Costa Rica to finalize details of the 2023 Costa Rica travel season with our in-country partners from Herencia Verde, Pika Viquez and Gabriela Morales.
The last two seasons have been a challenge, but tourism is picking up. Scheduled trips for the 2024 season are starting to fill up. EcoTeach is still working with many of our original locations over the last 25 years and we have added some new ones that reflect the EcoTeach brand of tourism. We appreciate the hundreds of group leaders that have traveled and supported EcoTeach over the years, and we are looking forward to meeting new teachers, parents and travelers during the coming years.
